Meet a CCSD 2024 Support Staff Employee of the Year: Heather Whitney of Woodstock Elementary School!

We greatly value the outstanding support staff in our schools and central office divisions, which is why we recognize them here.  Please join us in congratulating the 2024 Support Staff Employee of the Year for Woodstock Elementary School: Heather Whitney! #CCSDfam

Heather serves as the principals’ secretary. She has eight years of experience with CCSD, including five in her current role.

In her principal’s words: “Ms. Whitney has a servant's heart and attitude. She is the first person who people see when they come into Woodstock Elementary. She treats everyone in the building with love and respect. She not only connects with staff and parents, but students love her as well. As one student said it to me best, ‘Ms. Whitney and I have a secret handshake. She's part of my morning routine. She should get a Nobel Peace Prize for keeping our school community good. She should also get a promotion for all the great work she does.’”
